We're a few weeks into Q2 and I am truly energized by our team. In the Town Hall meeting last week we shared that - as a team - we have advanced the delivery of life-altering care for more than 100,000 patients so far and are well on our way to reaching our goal of 450,000 patients this year. This is made possible by all of you!
We are also making great progress against our employee engagement action plan, which was created as a result of all our listening sessions in Q1. The Employee Engagement Committee is leading the charge on the various subcommittees to address the areas of improvement that are most important to all of you. I encourage you to engage with this committee as we strive to make eHealth Technologies a great place to work.
If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
All my best,
"We enjoy working with you and are extremely grateful for all the hard work you and your team do to help our patients!"
-Shawna, Northwestern

Mental Health Awareness
May is Mental Health Awareness Month.According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), mental health is an important part of overall health and well-being. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
eHealth Technologies has a "Mental Health Awareness and Support" section on the employee website, filled with awareness and support resources, stress relief exercises, and more - click here to check it out. (Password: eHealth@home)
If you find you need additional support, and/or have questions in general about mental health, talk to your HR representative and they will guide you in the right direction to help you get the support you need.

April is Diversity Month, which recognizes and celebrates the beauty of our unique cultures, backgrounds, and traditions. Earlier this month, we shared an all-staff email that highlights Diversity Month, as well as other important observances throughout the month - click here if you missed it! Members of our DEI Committee (Britta Adams, Sravya Datla, and Stacey Thomas) as well as a couple of our peers (Tayler Deel and Courtney Head) took an opportunity to share with us the observances that are so important to them and why. To be inspired by their reflections, click here (PW: eHealth@home)
The Employee Engagement Committee is currently working on creating subcommittees based on the five themes identified from the employee engagement survey. We are recruiting champions to lead each subcommittee and are currently looking for new members for all the subcommittees:
Make sure that team members are paid fairly, recognized, and supported (with adequate training, career advancement opportunities, and management)
Ensure quality and attainable metrics.
Deliver working systems/Improve reliability of systems.
Staff appropriately and stop requiring OT.
Improve communication and provide it more frequently.
Please email Jill Alvarado, Cari Bigelow, and Sara Sharrowby April 27 if you are interested in joining one of these subcommittees and include which you would like to join.
Thank you!
