With only two weeks left in Q2, I am inspired by this team and the progress we've made toward our company's objectives and key results. Our employee engagement subcommittees have made great strides toward the items in our action plan and I am confident that if we continue on this path, we will be successful in making eHealth Technologies a great place to work.
It has been wonderful to see so many of you in person these last few months at the various team outings. If you haven't yet attended a team outing, I encourage you to mark your calendar for the next one! Seeing our team members in person makes all the difference, and it's fun to celebrate together. Did you know that, as a team, we've helped 173,000 patients so far this year? Incredible!
If you ever have any questions, my door is always open.
When we deliver comprehensive medical histories to physicians quickly, doctors like Dr. Lui are able to have meaningful and impactful first appointments with patients like Uduak. This doctor was able to get her files quickly and get her on the road to recovery! We look forward to continuing our great work with Stanford Health Care.
We hope that this video puts into perspective the collective positive impact you and your team members have on patients like Uduak. YOU make a difference!
Welcome to the Team!

The first Pride flag was designed by gay artist Gilbert Baker in 1978. It originally had eight stripes with each color symbolizing a different concept. The flag first flew on Gay Pride Day in San Francisco on June 25, 1978.
Did you know that Pride is celebrated at different times throughout the year depending on what city you’re in? Atlanta, Orlando, and Louisville all celebrate Pride in October, closer to National Coming Out Day on October 11. There are also other celebrations throughout the year, such as Atlanta Black Pride during Labor Day weekend.
DEI Keyword of the Month: Cisgender
Transgender is a term that has gained more prominence over the last several decades, but its complimentary term, cisgender, is one that you likely haven’t heard as much. To sum it up, cisgender people’s true gender matches the gender they were assigned at birth, whereas transgender people’s true gender does not match the gender they were assigned at birth. If you fit the description of cisgender, using this identity marker removes the idea of someone having a “default” or “normal” gender identity, which can help reduce the stigma against transgender people.
Juneteenth
On June 19, 1865, about two months after the Confederate general Robert E. Lee surrendered at Appomattox, Virginia, Gordon Granger, a Union general, arrived in Galveston, Texas, to inform enslaved African Americans of their freedom and that the Civil War had ended. General Granger’s announcement put into effect the Emancipation Proclamation, which had been issued nearly two and a half years earlier, on January 1, 1863, by President Abraham Lincoln.
In 2021, President Biden signed legislation that made Juneteenth, which falls on June 19, a federal holiday, after interest in the day was renewed during the summer of 2020 and the nationwide protests that followed the police killings of Black Americans including George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
The Juneteenth flag has great symbolism and meaning behind it. The red, white, and blue represent the American flag, a reminder that slaves and their descendants were and are Americans. The curve extending across the width of the flag represents a new horizon: the opportunities and promises that lay ahead for Black Americans. The white star in the center of the flag has a dual meaning. It represents Texas, the Lone Star State. Two years earlier, they were free. It also represents the freedom of African Americans in all 50 states.
At this week's Town Hall meeting, we heard from our five employee engagement action plan subcommittee champions. The champions and their teams are making great strides toward their respective themes, and we're thrilled to report that many of the action items have either been accomplished already or are in the process of being addressed by the appropriate team members at eHealth Technologies. The success shared so far has been inspiring and we look forward to further progress shared by these teams. If you missed the Town Hall meeting, all action plan updates can be found in the latest objectives and key results update.
Thank you!
