With Thanksgiving quickly approaching next week, I'd like to share how thankful I am for each and every one of you on the eHealth Technologies team. We've accomplished and continue to accomplish so much this year, and I'm looking forward to sharing our developing plans for 2024. Details coming soon!
We've started reimagining our approach to quality and recently launched a new program: "Quality first, quantity most".
This approach puts a renewed focus on the quality of the work we are doing, and then doing the most that we possibly can. This new quality program positions the QA team to work more strategically with the Operations team to drive process improvements across the organization. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your manager.
Again, I am thankful for all of you and the energy you bring to your teams and our company. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
All my best,
"The past two weeks have been great! This is the fastest we have received pathology, even from difficult facilities. Thank you so much and we appreciate your partnership!"
-Jasmine Ainsworth and Michael Balbontin, Sr. Practice Manager
"eHealth Technologies has been very useful for us and has helped our team with patient record and image retrieval immensely. Felicia's team has had great communication and keeps us in the loop whenever record delays happen."

On behalf of the eHealth Technologies Cares Committee, we'd like to thank everyone who participated in our recent Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events in Rochester, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, and Bristol, VA. Together we raised almost $6,500 across all three events for the American Cancer Society!
A special shout-out to Mallory Solomon (pictured below with her mom and sister), who personally raised almost $900 for the cause. Mallory's Aunt Linda passed away earlier this year from breast cancer and radiation complications, so this cause truly hits home for Mallory and her family. Even her younger cousins in New Jersey raised almost $1500 this past summer selling lemonade in her honor - all the funds were donated to a local organization that helps women with cancer. Incredible!
Thank you, Mallory, for sharing your story, and for participating in this worthy cause!
Before 2023 comes to a close, we have opportunities to give back to the communities in which we live and work this holiday season. Details are below!
This year we are supporting the Ronald McDonald House in Johnson City, Tennessee. Our goal is to raise a total of $2,000 so the organization can purchase 10 new TVs, one for each room in their newly renovated house. To make a donation, visit www.rmhsa.org/donate. Click on the blue donate button and select donation amount. Under the program tab select e-Health Technologies. Complete all information with red stars and submit.
The Cares Committee will be hosting a food and supply drive at all holiday office gatherings this year. Please be on the lookout for more information regarding holiday event dates and supplies needed to support the organizations these drives will be sponsoring!
November is National Diabetes Month, a time when communities across the country seek to bring attention to diabetes. This year's focus is on taking action to prevent diabetes health problems. Diabetes is a disease that occurs when your blood glucose, also called blood sugar, is too high. It affects about 37 million Americans, including adults and youth. Diabetes can damage the eyes, kidneys, nerves, and heart, and it is linked to some types of cancer. But there’s also good news: Taking charge of your health may help you prevent diabetes health problems.
Here are some tips to get started:
Manage your A1C blood glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels. Ask your doctor what your goals should be and stay informed about your A1C level.
Take care of your mental health. A mental health counselor may help you find healthy ways to cope with stress.
Make lifestyle changes to slowly build healthy habits. Take small steps to eat healthier, be more physically active, and get enough sleep.
DEI Keyword of the Month: Performative Allyship
When an individual or group of power/majority/privilege (e.g., white, male, abled, unqueer, etc.) loudly profess(es) their actions in the name of ‘allyship’, while actively conducting harm to, taking focus away from, and generally being unhelpful towards the group they claim to support. This is often done to receive praise and attention without taking critical action to dismantle the systems of harm.
What is Thanksgiving?
Thanksgiving is a cherished American holiday that brings families and friends together to express gratitude, share a festive meal, and reflect on the blessings of the past year. It’s a time for giving thanks for the abundance in our lives and celebrating the spirit of togetherness.
This annual holiday celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. It has historical roots dating back to the early 17th century when the Pilgrims and Native Americans came together for a harvest feast to give thanks for a bountiful harvest and cooperation.
History of Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving has deep historical roots in American culture, tracing back to the early days of European settlers in North America. The holiday’s origins are often associated with the Pilgrims and their feast with Native Americans in 1621 to celebrate a successful harvest. Over time, Thanksgiving became an annual tradition, and in 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed it a national holiday.
